Welcome!

Welcome to the home page of Holy Rosary School.  Holy Rosary was founded in 1923 and is a traditional Catholic school with a history of academic excellence and faith preparation.  Every year, new students and new families join our school and parish community to experience the great gifts of Catholic education. We invite you to explore the traditions of excellence that are established and actively passed on through the daily education of our students.

Enjoy learning more about Rosary.  Whether you are a parent, parishioner, alumni, future school family or visitor, we hope you find our site and the information helpful.  We believe the best way to see what we are all about is to come visit and see us in action.  We invite you to call or e-mail for further information and/or to schedule a tour.  Come experience “The Good News in Education!”

Mr. Jesse Murray, Principal
Holy Rosary School

Letter From the Principal

As Principal of Holy Rosary School, I am truly honored to represent our Holy Rosary School community as a leader and model of our faith. As a product of a K-12 system of Catholic education in Austin, MN, and a graduate (B.A. in Biological Studies and M.A. in Educational Instruction) of St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN, I understand the value of faith in education and realize the need for Catholic education for a healthy and moral society.

I have been very fortunate to have worked directly with the LaSallian Christian Brothers (Los Angeles, CA; and Browning, MT) and with the Brothers of the Holy Cross (Mountain View, CA).  The strength and success of their mission helped me realize my personal vocation to make Catholic Education a permanent part of my life and my family, as well a prominent and progressive entity for others to learn, love, and grow.

Holy Rosary School is proud of the Dominican traditions that have established high academic standards and achievement.  We maintain an advanced and accelerated curriculum and our students consistently score grade levels above the average in standardized tests.  Holy Rosary students are easily identifiable in their high school experience with their academic successes, but more importantly their manners, attitude, and character presentation.   Our school is blessed with dedicated, conscientious teachers who believe in our mission of building a faith based community.  It is through their instruction and modeled example that our students learn- and put into action- timeless Catholic values that will prepare our students and families for lives of faith and service.

I encourage you to look through the different components to our school on this website, so you can feel the strong sense of community that puts Holy Rosary at the front end of all educational communities.  Our parents, teachers, students, and parishioners work together, with the grace of God and the power of the Holy Spirit to remain committed to our mission of Catholic education.  I invite you to get in touch, call, e-mail, or drop in.   We would love to share the Holy Rosary experience with you.
