Duluth Area Catholic Schools

Mission

The Duluth Area Catholic Schools System exists to advance the religious education, formation, and service ministries of the Catholic Church and to develop the full potential of all students by ensuring that Catholic school education is viable, justly available, and equitably supported by Duluth-area parishes and the broader Catholic community.

The Duluth Area Catholic Schools System is a unified system of five neighborhood schools, offering a continuum of faith-based education from preschool through eighth grade to families in Duluth and surrounding communities.  It was established as a non-profit corporation in  2006 with the goal of being fully operational as a school system in the fall of 2010.

The system is supported financially and through prayer by all sixteen Catholic parishes in Duluth, Hermantown, and Proctor.  It is governed by a school board that cooperates with the Diocese of Duluth to accomplish the mission above.
